Salary: £20,000-25,000 p.a
This is an exciting opportunity and ideal for an experienced Book-keeper on a full-time or part-time (Tuesday-Thursday) basis.
Role:
-Processing information onto accounting software (Xero) and producing necessary reports. This includes all aspects of accounts payable and receivable (e.g. posting of customer and supplier invoices, checking supplier invoices before payment, reconciling bank transactions and accounts
-General administrative support in payroll-we use Tempaid/oxford software
Experience and Skills required:
-Good Excel skills and knowledge of accounting principles are vital
-Proven experience in a bookkeeping role is essential (at least two years)
-minimum AAT or equivalent accounting background is essential
-Working knowledge of SAGE 50/Xero software
-Good computer literacy, in particular, Microsoft Excel, Word.
-Problem solving abilities and willingness to use your own initiative to drive improvements in processes
-The ability to work unsupervised to meet regular and required deadlines
-A can-do attitude and willingness to get involved in a range of office duties
